Kirby says hi. I feel how he looks today. My workout was terrible today and I feel useless.
I took my first drive in the Alltrack to my trainer , and it is nice. My body and brain are conditioned to the GTI, and my left foot kept stomping on nothing. The tuned-down engine makes a big difference, but it still feels light, nimble, and fun. Being the top trim SEL, she even gets a few doodads that I don’t have.
But I have plaid seats so I win.
I was informed today that I am not to operate “her” Stella without permission. She asserts possession and control rapidly. The lady will have a tail rack, but hold the crash bars, please. Should I think about body and paint? I could do that M thing and rebadge it as a Vespa PX. So many possibilities...

Transitioning between my WRX and the various automatic rental cars has been challenging for the same reason. I have to be careful in the Explorer since the parking brake is in roughly the same area as a clutch pedal would be.
What’s really hard for me is taxiing a plane. The rudder and nose wheel are controlled by your feet. My brain and feet are in a constant battle -“turn left” “No! That will disengage the propeller!”

I envision the need for several shakedown rides to make sure it’s safe and running properly.
I personally like the look of it as is , well how it would look with the damage repaired, but of course we all know who’s opinion actually matters here

Have you taken Toby for a spin in it yet?
That’s one of the first things I need for Sandy, a dog guard. My sister’s and step-brothers dogs had scuffed the door card tops and left marks on the interior even with the rear seat covers in place. So they will be banned from the main cabin and relegated to the boot area on a boot space cover, behind a dog guard.
